Dombivali is an area in Thane District, Kalyan tehsil in
Maharashtra, India. It is situated about fifty kilometers from the city of
Mumbai, and about twenty kilometers from Thane. Dombivali is connected by a
state highway to Kalyan, Panvel, Thane and Navi Mumbai. The Municipal
Corporation provides local bus service KDMT within the city and out of city up
to Kalyan and Navi Mumbai. There is
an array of manufacturing, industrial, agricultural and metal factories in this
city.
According to the recent survey, Dombivli is known as one of
the most populated cities in India. The Dativli Railway Station is closer to
Dombivali East and Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport is situated at a distance
of 31 km from Dombivali East. Dombivali East hosts various Schools and Colleges
